Saguenay International was established in 1997 by, Dr. John Stone, the author of close to 100 scientific publications. Before retiring, he was the Director of Research at the University of Ottawa. The company produces and published technical books dealing with the distillation of alcohol by amateurs, a field containing few, if any, truly scientific books on the subject. Most readers are hobbyists who currently make beer and wine at home, hobbyists with an interest in expanding into the realm of distilled spirits such as vodka, rum, whiskey, etc., as well as people simply interested in exploring the art of home distillation. |
